This film stars Nitin and Hansika Motwani.

Chandrashekhar Reddy called as Chandu (Nitin) is a fearless guy who loves to tackle the problems with wits and guts and is pursuing MCA in Gurunanak Group of Institutions. He falls instantly in love with Nandini cutely called as Nandu(Hansika). Chandu’s parents (Chandramohan and Pragathi) help their son in winning his love and when the time has arrived for Hansika to reciprocate her love, her father Peddi Reddy (Suman) arrives from Rayalaseema to get her daughter married to a Seema guy. Chandu, now moves to Rayalseema to win his love and easily Peddi Reddy agrees to their marriage for the guts of hero. Here comes the villain Veera Pratap Reedy (Panda) who is all in a hurry to marry Nandini and make a family. He has an uncle Shiva Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy) and cruel father Pratapa Reddy (Raj Premi), who kidnap Nandini and bring her to Allagadda. Chandu who loves to face the problems is decided to go Allagadda (That is Lanka) and marry Nandu before villain Veera Pratap Reddy (That is Ravanasura). In this battle of wits, how did Risk Rambo (Ali), Appalaraju & Pappalaraju (Brahmi) and Bujji, Made in Bhimavaram(Subbaraju) help Chandu and Nandu (Lord Rama and Seetha) forms the rest of the story.

To be honest (like the film demands), Rann is not a new story but the news battle setting saves it from getting run-of-the-mill. Rather than a story designed around the media world, Rann is more of the clichéd corrupt politician chronicle (that Bollywood has been narrating since ages) set on the backdrop of the broadcasting business. In fact the basic scenario of drama for this Ram Gopal Varma film comes close to his own Sarkar through the trio of a principled patriarch (Amitabh Bachchan), his debauched son (Sudeep) and the righteous and more deserving descendant (Riteish Deshmukh). Rann tries to be too idealistic right from its ethical news channel head Vijay Harshvardhan Malik (Bachchan) to the trustworthy politician (K K Raina), all of which have become rare species in real life. Malik's concerns are correct as he believes in reporting news in an era when every rival channel is resorting to creating news. Son Jai Malik (Sudeep) is disillusioned with father's morals that are leading their channel nowhere. As commercial corruption seeps in, Jai, through the medium of his channel, conspires against the ruling Prime Minister to make way for the opposition leader Mohan Pandey (Paresh Rawal). While Vijay is oblivious to the entire conspiracy, his channel's lead reporter Purab (Riteish) takes it upon himself to investigate the truth. Rann starts off impressively, right from its opening credits, showing contemporary newsreel montages edited to a spooky effect, more symbolic of RGV's horror flicks. The idea is to highlight the real horror that's haunting humans - sensationalism by media houses. The commercialism of coverage is effectively portrayed in a scene where a news channel anchor (Rajpal Yadav) confides in a feature filmmaker (Gul Panag) saying they are doing the same job - making movies and entertaining the audience. Especially hilarious is the sequence emphasizing media's selective hearing approach where facts are cut out on the editing table for formula. But the authentic setting can't camouflage the conventionalism in the storytelling. Though writer Rohit Banawlikar pens some intense dramatic sequences which are deftly directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Rann relies on a very predictable plot. The treatment is suggestive of several Madhur Bhandarkar films from Corporate to Satta and the climactic twist clearly comes close to that of Page 3 . Further the film opts for the most conservative and convenient culmination with a sting operation in the climax.

Auro (Amitabh) is a 12 year progeria infected kid living with his gynecologist mother Vidya (Vidya Balan) and her mother (Arundhati Naag). Extremely witty Auro happens to win an award in his school from a young politician, Amol Arte (Abhishek). On the same night when Vidya watches its telecast, she realizes that Auro actually met his father for the first time. During her student days abroad, she was in a relationship with Amol but had broken off with him over their decision whether to keep the child or not. Amol wanted it aborted and not commit for marriage as he wanted to pursue his political ambitions. Progeria affected children don’t happen to live beyond 13-14 years so when Auro collapses and she fears he is nearing his final stages of his life, she reveals to him that Amol is his father. What follows next and how Auro is instrumental and getting his estranged parents back together forms the rest of the film.
Watch Paa with your Maa and Paa and one can confidently say that it is definitely bound to be an experience which you will remember for a long time. Paa will leave you with a tear in your eye but also a smile on your lips.

Her parents will never let her marry a delivery man and to make things more difficult the conniving Harbans Chadda (Paresh Rawal) enters the picture.Chadda is heavily in debt and the only way he can get out of it is by getting his son, played by Chunky Pandey, to marry a rich woman and bring in some dowry. He decides Manpreet is just the girl for his son.With their girlfriends on their case, Nitin and Ram, have to do some quick thinking to make some money. And they decide to kidnap a very important person. The ransom money is on its way but things fall apart as their plan is crowded by an assassin, guests who have to attend Manpreet’s reception, an ACB police officer, a dead body, a drunkard....So where does that leave our boys?
