That Ramgopal Varma has been a trend setter in film making in India since late Eighties is well known. One genre that has always intrigued Ramgopal Varma has been the Horror film.
The Indian Horror films have always been quintessentially loud and marked by lot of blood and gore, with lots of people in weird masks grimacing ever so often, the secluded Bungalow or the white saree clad woman trying to induce fear. But Varma's films have been a departure from this formula. They are scary in real sense. They depict seemingly normal situations to give that eerie effect and use the fear of the unknown factor to telling effect. Back ground score plays a major role in these films. Ramgopal Varma made a series of Horror films before he perfected the Art of Scaremonging.
This film once again stars the then Varma regulars JD Chakravarthy and Maheswari. As usual maheshwari looks very hot.So if you are in a mood for a thrill a minute experience or looking for the Indian equivalents of the Exosrcist or Omen, check this out. Be Warned.
